Farmington Police Announce Parking Ban Due To Expected Storm

No parking on town streets will be allowed from Tuesday morning into Wednesday morning.

FARMINGTON, CT — The March nor'easter expected to hit today, Tuesday and into Wednesday has prompted Farmington officials to take action.

The Farmington Police Department Monday afternoon announced that a winter parking ban will be in place from 6 a.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

No roadside parking is allowed and violators face tickets and/or towing if they do not comply.

A mix of rain and heavy, wet snow is expected from the storm, with inch counts ranging from a few inches to several depending on certain parts of the state.
