Farmington Police Announce Seatbelt Enforcement for Holiday Season

Check out where police will be targeting drivers who don't click it.

Now that the Holiday season is fast approaching the Farmington Police Department is dedicating its efforts to increasing awareness of safe driving to help reduce motor vehicle collisions and the injuries suffered from not wearing seatbelts. It is important to remind the motoring public of the three basic rules of highway safety:

1. Always Buckle Up

2. Obey Posted Speed Limits and all Traffic Laws

3. Never Drink and Drive

speed, and DUI laws heading into the holiday season. A highly visible,

concentrated effort, will be conducted during the 2014 CLICK IT or TICKET “Day or Night” Campaign. The enforcement period is from November 25, 2014 through November 30, 2014.

The primary area of enforcement will be on Main St in the area of Bidwell Square in Unionville. However, we will enforce these laws throughout the entire Town of Farmington. Please Drive Safely and remember to Buckle Up. It’s the Law!
