Farmington Police Arrests Include Risk of Injury to Minor, Shoplifting

Arrests from Dec. 17 and Dec. 18.

  • Gabriel Ortiz, 32, of Winsted was arrested Dec. 18 and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence and failure to obey a control signal.
  • Anthony Arena, 24, of Torrington was arrested Dec. 17 and charged with two counts of illegal obtaining or supplying prescription drugs. The arrest stemmed from a Torrington Police warrant. He was turned over to Torrington officers.
  • Christopher Malino, 25, of Hartford was arrested Dec. 17 and charged with third-degree criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was spotted on New Horizon’s property where he had previously trespassed on, according to police.
  • Delia Perez, 35, of Springfield, Mass. was arrested Dec. 18 and charged with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy for the same and risk of injury to a minor after she allegedly shoplifted at several Westfarms mall stores.
  • Natasha Zayas, 23, of Hartford was arrested Dec. 18 and charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy for the same after she allegedly shoplifted from multiple mall stores.
  • Stennett Kenion, 46, of Bloomfield was arrested Dec. 18 and charged with sixth-degree larceny after she was allegedly found in possession of stolen jewelry linked to a stolen purse from Dec. 12.
