Farmington Police Arrests Include Theft of Scrap Metal, DUI

Other arrests include breach of peace and evading responsibility.

  • Juan Serrano, 47, of New Britain was arrested and charged Sunday after he was allegedly caught stealing scrap metal from dumpsters at businesses on Spring Lane, according to police. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal trespass.
  • Darnelle Langevin, 24, of Bristol was arrested Saturday and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a vehicle while under the influence after a motor vehicle stop on Saturday.
  • Hector Cuadrado, 25, of Hartford was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree breach of peace after a physical fight with his girlfriend at the Westfarms mall, according to police.
  • Jules Poirier, 46, of Avon was arrested Friday and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence after he allegedly backed into another car in a parking lot.
  • Alan Botteon, 63, of Bristol was arrested Friday following a motor vehicle accident in Farmington where he allegedly fled from the scene, according to police. He was charged with evading responsibility.
