Orlando Vega, 29, of 89 Kelsey St., New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession of narcotics and illegally obtaining or supplying narcotics, in connection with a shoplifting call at JC Penney in Westfarms Mall, 2:33 p.m.
Joseph Legeyt, 33, of 130-B East Mountain Rd., Canton, was charged with weapons in a motor vehicle, misuse of plate, no insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to drive in proper lane, operating under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than a half-ounce of a cannabis-type substance and illegally obtaining or supplying narcotics, in connection with a motor vehicle stop on School St., 6:15 p.m.

Melissa Trotter, 30, of 49 Girard Ave., Hartford, was charged with fourth-degree larceny, criminal attempt to commit fourth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device, on a warrant, 10:30 a.m.

Paul P. Lobiondo, 28, of 7 Hunters Ridge, Farmington, was charged with operating under the influence, traveling unreasonably fast and no passing zone, in connection with a motor vehicle stop on Coppermine Rd., 1:37 a.m.
John E. Kotlinski, 50, of 15 Lexton Dr., Farmington, was charged with operating under the influence and operating under suspension, in connection with a motor vehicle stop on South Rd., 8:30 p.m.
