Nayomi Dassanayake, 35, of 59 Sisson Ave., Hartford, was charged with risk of injury to a child and fifth-degree larceny, in connection with a shoplifting call at JC Penney in Westfarms Mall, 2:43 p.m.

Dale J. Quereux, 44, of 97 New Britain Ave., Plainville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, second-degree failure to appear, violation of probation and being a fugitive from justice, in connection with a shoplifting call at JC Penney in Westfarms Mall and on three warrants, 7:25 p.m.

May 16

Marisol Alvarez, 40, of 12 Arrowwood Cir., South Windsor, was charged with second-degree harassment, on a warrant, 5:55 a.m.

Collin Doty, 20, of 295 Brook St., Bristol, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, in connection with a domestic disturbance on Plainville Ave., 9:34 p.m.
