Paul Joseph Stepka, 54, of Moses Place, Farmington, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs at 6:54 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 29.

Judy Torres, 58, of Hungerford Street, Hartford, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia; first-degree criminal trespassing; sixth-degree larceny; and illegal possession of a shoplifting device at 5:20 p.m. She will appear in court Feb. 5.
Jan. 27
Bernard E. Latham, 63, of Lee Road, Opelika, Ala., was charged with first-degree identity theft; first-degree larceny; criminal impersonation; first-degree forgery; and first-degree computer crime at 6:33 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 28.

Maurice Sental Porter, 45, of Sunset Ridge Drive, East Hartford, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs at 9:20 p.m. He will appear in court Feb. 5.
Jeffrey Alan Winterstein, 42, of Spring Lane, Farmington, was charged with first-degree unlawful restraint; second-degree strangulation/suffocation; second-degree breach of peace; and first-degree threatening (displaying a firearm) at 5:16 p.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 29.
Nely Garcia-Hernandez, 45, of Vanderbilt Avenue, West Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace at 11:06 a.m. She will appear in court Feb. 5.

Connor Mitchell Murray, 24, of Evans Drive, Simsbury, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs at 1:15 a.m. He will appear in court Feb. 5.
Vladyslav Savchuk, 23, of Diamond Avenue, Plainville, was charged with evading responsibility for injury/property damage at 7:15 p.m. He will appear in court Feb. 5.
Jeffrey Alan Winterstein, 42, of Spring Lane, Farmington, was charged with first-degree unlawful restraint; second-degree strangulation/suffocation; interfering with an emergency call; third-degree assault; and first-degree threatening (displaying a firearm) at 10:09 a.m. He was to appear in court Jan. 29.
