Kermit Javier Alvarez, 34, of North Main Street, Waterbury, was charged with fifth-degree larceny; second-degree breach of peace; and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest at 1:59 p.m. He was to appear in court Oct. 4.

Derek C. Forsythe, 35, of Sunny Lane, Torrington, was charged with first-degree failure to appear in court at 3:15 a.m. He was to appear in court Sept. 29.
Glenn Paladino, 52, of Northampton Lane, Plainville, was charged with unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle; operating an unregistered motor vehicle; illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; and illegal parking of a motor vehicle at 2:15 a.m. He will appear in court Oct. 11.
Oct. 1
Karen E. Scott, 69, of Montgomery Drive, Northford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny at 5:30 p.m. She will appear in court Oct. 11.
Oct. 3
Chastity R. Casiano, 35, of St. John Street, Manchester, was charged with four counts of sixth-degree larceny at 9:15 a.m. She was to appear in court Oct. 3.
Oct. 4
Ferguson B. Woodie, 52, of Pierremont Road, New Britain, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief; second-degree strangulation/suffocation; disorderly conduct; and third-degree assault at 6 a.m. He was to appear in court Oct. 4. He was also charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of a narcotic substance with intent to sell at 1 p.m. He was to appear in court on those charges Oct. 5.
Christian Ruben Garcia, 28, of Simmons Road, East Hartford, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia; sixth-degree larceny; and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny at 9:02 p.m. He will appear in court Oct. 11.
Calvin Napolean Crumpton, 59, of Marry Shepherd Place, Hartford, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia; sixth-degree larceny; conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny; illegal possession of a shoplifting device; and possession of a controlled substance at 8:02 p.m. He will appear in court Oct. 11.
