Farmington Resident Honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award

Hartford, Conn, (July 18, 2019) – Honored for making lasting impressions on not only their own organizations but the larger community, this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award winners exemplify what it means to be leaders, innovators and role models.

This year’s honorees include:

Martin J. Geitz, President and CEO of Simsbury Bank, whose career includes roles with several financial services organizations and volunteers his time with community organizations such as Junior Achievement and the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center.

Beth Shluger, CEO and President of the Hartford Marathon Foundation, whose contributions have bolstered economic vitality for the region.

JoAnn H. Price, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Fairview Capital, formerly led the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC). She currently chairs the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, serves on four other nonprofit boards/committees and has a longstanding history of giving back to the community.

Neal Keating, Chairman, President and CEO, Kaman Corporation, whose career spans roles as an engineer and in the fields of aerospace and technology.

Honorees were celebrated during a breakfast at the Bond Ballroom this morning.

The 2019 Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented by Hartford Business Journal with the support of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (presenting sponsor) and UConn School of Business (education leadership sponsor).
