Farmington Resident Named UConn's Top Teaching Assistant

School of Business teaching assistant Rebecca Ranucci will receive the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award from the UConn Institute for Teaching and Learning.

Ranuccia is a fifth-year doctoral student in the management department, according to the Hartford Courant.

She has taught six courses since spring 2012 and was applauded for imposing high standards of learning. She scored the highest on student evaluations that asked how much they learned and how hard they worked.
