Farmington Resident Wins Big Playing Scratch-Off Game

The winning ticket was purchased at a local gas station.

FARMINGTON, CT — March definitely did not go out like a lamb for one local resident Friday, as a trip to a gas station resulted in a lion-like payout.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Unionville (Farmington) resident Kierston Brown won $20,000 playing a scratch-off game.

The game, "20X Cash 8th Edition," was purchased at an Exxon station in Farmington, according to the lottery corp.

The $20 game has a maximum payout of $20,000, making for a solid (and lucky) investment fo Brown.
