Area residents are opposed to the building of a lattice tower in an area of homes, schools, and recreational facilities for the enjoyment of all the town’s residents. Many residents living within the area stated in public hearings that there was no need for a telecommunications tower in the area.
Both the Town and Farmington residents have strongly opposed the tower’s location and questioned its true intent. Both residents and town officials spoke out against the tower at the hearings.
