Farmington Road Closed After Crash Now Open: Police
The accident took down utility wires and the road was closed into Wednesday morning.

FARMINGTON, CT — A local roadway was closed Tuesday morning after a crash took down utility wires, but local police Wednesday morning finally announced its reopening.
According to the Farmington Police Department, Meadow Road was closed from Garden Street to New Britain Avenue fillowing the crash.
The FPD reported the road closure at about 6:03 a.m. Tuesday.

At about 7 a.m. Wednesday, the FPD finally notified motorists that the road was reopened.
Meadow Road is now open.

Meadow Road closed from Garden Street to New Britain Ave due to an accident with wires down. Local traffic for Red Oak Hill Road up to Tunxis Mead Park should use the New Britain Ave side for access. No current estimated time of reopening.
