Farmington School Administration Investigating Student Claims About Chartwells
An update to yesterday's story.

The school administration is looking into claims that students had meals dumped in the trash before their eyes if they didn’t have enough money on their balance to pay, among other claims.
Student claims were brought to light after a broadcast on NBC Connecticut.

In turn, FHS administration and Chartwells are working closely with the group of students that expressed concern and we are investigating the issue highlighted in your broadcast on the procedure followed by Chartwells at FHS when unpaid lunch balances exceeded the district’s established level.
Other students complained about the quality of the food and posted pictures to a Facebook page. One student claimed that he found mold in his tomato sauce.
