Participants will also learn strategies intended to help them better care for family members living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
“Dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia isn’t easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you’re going through,” organizers said in a program description.
The sessions will be led through the community’s Compass Programming, which focuses on memory care support.
Those planning to attend are asked to contact Katherine Jedynasty, director of Compass Programming, at kjedynasty@farmingtonslr.com in advance.
