Farmington Seniors Celebrate A Festive Fourth
Residents of assisted living facility show their true, patriotic colors.
FARMINGTON, CT — Residents of the Farmington Station Senior Living assisted living facility have seen a lot of Fourths of July.
But that doesn't mean any of their patriotic enthusiasm has gone away as they've journeyed into their golden years.
That was the case this July 4 when residents took part in various festive activities to celebrate the nation's 246th birthday.

"It was a day filled with flags, confetti poppers, snazzy glasses and sparkly headwear, and delicious cookout fare, including a red, white, and blue cake," wrote Sarah LeBrun of Senior Living Residences.
