“I love Pack Leaders Rescue of Connecticut because they give dogs and cats a true second chance at life,” Lee said. “From rescuing animals from shelters in Arkansas to transporting them north and supporting a dedicated network of volunteers, it truly takes a village to make each rescue possible. Everyone at Pack Leaders Rescue has such giving hearts, not just for the animals, but for the volunteers who make this work possible.”

Residents and community members are encouraged to donate items, including blankets, toys, dog clothing, harnesses, leashes, and treats.

Donations can be dropped off at Riverbend at Farmington, 1 Bridgewater Road, or Skybrooke at Simsbury, 142 Cooper Ave. in Weatogue (Simsbury).
