Farmington State Rep. Mike Demicco Endorsed by Sierra Club, CT League of Conservation Voters
The groups endorsed Demicco for is commitment to the environment.

Mike Demicco, State Representative (D-Farmington, Unionville) and candidate for re-election, received endorsements from the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) and the Connecticut Sierra Club who praised Demicco for his commitment to protecting the environment.
“I am very pleased to accept the CTLCV and CT Sierra Club endorsements,” said Rep. Mike Demicco. “Being recognized by these outstanding environmental groups is an honor and is very much appreciated.”
“In only his first term, Mike Demicco has proven himself to be a solidly pro-environmental legislator who we can count on to protect our air, land, and water,” said Lori Brown, Executive Director of CTLCV.

Demicco was recognized for his record on protecting the environment and recently received a 100% rating for his support and advocacy of environmental initiatives in the CTLCV 2014 Environmental Scorecard and a perfect 100% lifetime score. “I am proud to have supported so many important bills including, GMO labeling, funding for open space, clean water, coastal management, and water management,” Demicco said.

Demicco has proven a very strong protector of our environment, with a perfect voting record and a history of reaching out to us to explore ways of addressing environmental priorities as we work to rebuild our economy,” said Martin Mador, Connecticut Sierra Club Legislative and Political Chair.
