Farmington Station To Host Monthly Alzheimer’s Support Group This Week

The senior living facility will offer in-person and Zoom options for caregivers.

FARMINGTON, CT — Caregivers and family members supporting loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias are invited to attend a monthly support group hosted by Farmington Station Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

The next session, titled “Hearts, Hugs & Hope,” is scheduled for April 16 at 6 p.m. at the community’s location on Scott Swamp Road.

The group meets on the third Thursday of each month and is available both in person and via Zoom.

Organizers say the sessions are designed to give participants a space to share concerns and personal experiences with others facing similar challenges, while also learning practical strategies for caregiving.
