Farmington Takes Whopping $3.9 Million State Aid Budget Hit
Farmington was slated to receive $4.9 million in 2019 fiscal year; now Malloy is proposing the town receive only $1 million in state aid.

FARMINGTON, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For Farmington, it would be a 78 percent cut from the previously approved $4.9 million total - to $1 million.
