Farmington Town Manager To Kick Off Budget Season Next Week

FARMINGTON, CT — Budget season, while not usually exciting for taxpayers, is actually a highly important part of living in a town.

After all, voting on a budget is the best way to have a say on what your taxes will be and what services will be offered.

Farmington residents are invited to attend a public hearing on Tuesday, March 10, at 7 p.m. at Farmington Town Hall, 1 Monteith Drive.

There, Farmington Town Manager Kathleen Blonski will present her recommended budget for the fiscal year 2026-27.

The presentation will outline the financial plan for the town's operations and services for the upcoming fiscal year.

The public hearing is scheduled to take place in the Farmington Town Hall Council Chambers.

This session provides an opportunity for community members to hear directly about the proposed budget.
