Farmington Valley Co-op Earns Votes in Latest Hockey Poll
The four-school combination has knocked off some tough opponents this season.

FARMINGTON, CT — For the first time all season, each of the 16 voters in the weekly high school boys ice hockey poll agreed on a number one.
Ridgefield bagged all the top votes in the final regular season balloting of media members and coaches. New Canaan moved from third to second.
Farmington Valley (14-3), made up of Farmington, Avon, Windsor and Lewis Mills high schools, received some voter support in the most recent poll.

Here are the top 10, with records through Feb. 20:
- Ridgefield (18-2)
- New Canaan (16-3-1)
- Xavier (13-5-1)
- Notre Dame-West Haven (10-7-1)
- Northwest Catholic (15-3-1)
- Hamden (11-6)
- Fairfield Prep (9-8)
- West Haven (12-5)
- East Haven (13-3)
- Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks (13-5)
Also receiving votes: Simsbury (9-8), NFI (13-2-2), Fairfield Warde/Ludlowe (13-4-2), Farmington Valley (14-3), Watertown/Pomperaug (14-3).
