Farmington Valley Receives Votes in Latest Ice Hockey Poll
The four-school co-op of Farmington, Avon, Windsor and Lewis Mills is 8-2 thus far this season.

FARMINGTON, CT — For the fifth straight week, Ridgefield High School topped the rankings in the Connecticut boys ice hockey poll of media and coaches.
The Tigers (10-1) received 13 of 16 first-place votes.
Farmington Valley (8-2), a co-op consisting of Farmington, Avon, Windsor and Lewis Mills high schools, did not crack the top 10, but received some voter support for the first time this season.

Here are the top 10 teams, with records through Jan. 30:
- Ridgefield (10-1)
- New Canaan (9-2)
- Xavier (9-3)
- Northwest Catholic (12-1-1)
- Notre Dame-West Haven (7-5)
- Hamden (6-4)
- Fairfield Prep (6-5)
- East Haven (10-1)
- Simsbury (6-5)
- Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks (9-3)
Also receiving votes: West Haven (8-4), Farmington Valley (8-2), Woodstock Academy (11-0), Fairfield Warde/Ludlowe (9-3), Notre Dame-Fairfield (3-8-1).
