Farmington's Good Friday Holiday Impacts Announced
Friday is Good Friday, with many municipalities recognizing the holiday that is part of Easter weekend.
FARMINGTON, CT — This weekend is another holiday weekend, with several Connecticut towns marking the Good Friday holiday as part of Easter weekend.
In Farmington, all municipal departments, including both Farmington Libraries, will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday.
Regular hours of operation will resume on Monday, April 6, at 8:30 a.m.

For Farmington residents who have trash and recycling collection by the town's contractor (Waste Material Trucking Co.), there will be no change in your regular collection day.
Farmington Public Schools are also closed on Friday, April 3, with classes resuming as normal on Monday, April 6.
