What Does The Future Hold? Find Out At Farmington Museum

Hill-Stead recommends folks book their sessions through the museum, but walk-ins are welcome.

FARMINGTON, CT — October is a magical, mystical month — for obvious reasons.

So it stands to also be the perfect time for Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington to host tarot card reading programs on Saturday, Oct. 22; Sunday, Oct. 23; and Saturday, Oct. 29.

The sessions are from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. all three days, with guests being able to book 20-minute sessions with a psychic for $45.

"Tarot cards can give you a glimpse into your life's journey and what the future may hold," the museum wrote in an announcement of the programs." Tarot can offer insight into all aspects of life and provide a sense of clarity."

Of course, such readings are fun and interesting regardless of whether the subject sees them as an accurate portrayal of the future or just an entertaining and fun exercise.

The museum said the readings also tie in perfectly with a special exhibit at the site, called "Radical Spirits: Tarot, Automatism and Feminist Histories."

The exhibit features all sorts of artifacts related to tarot cards, mysticism and other spiritually-based art.

The Hill-Stead Museum is located at 35 Mountain Road, Farmington.
