Jessica Jordan Mercuri elected to her first term as an Executive Committee member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFD

Farmington resident Jessica Jordan Mercuri has been elected to her first term as a member of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA).
Mercuri is a licensed funeral director/embalmer at The Ahern Funeral Home, Inc. with locations in Hartford and Unionville. She is a fourth-generation funeral director in her family’s firm that was founded in 1886 in Hartford by her great, great uncles, brothers John J. Ahern and Francis Ahern.
She became a licensed funeral director/embalmer in 2010 after receiving her professional schooling from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Fairfield University.

Mercuri grew up in West Hartford and Hartford and graduated from Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford. She now lives in Farmington with her husband and their two children.
