Farmington's Preschool Parents Invited To Special Program This Week

The event will take place at the Farmington Library, and it will help them prepare their children for kindergarten.

FARMINGTON, CT — Preschool parents can attend a special program at the main Farmington Library site for a forum this week on how to prepare their children for kindergarten.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, at the main library on 6 Monteith Drive, Farmington, and it is free, though registration is required.

"Are you the parent of a 3-, 4-, or 5-year-old? Do you want to learn simple things you can do at home to help your child be ready for kindergarten?" asks an event announcement.

The name of the program is "Ready for School with Dr. Kristen Wilder,"who is the family engagement facilitator at Farmington Schools.
