Farmington's Summer School Offers Diverse Learning Opportunities
Registration opened for Farmington Continuing Education classes, which are also available to out-of-towners as well.

FARMINGTON, CT — Summer is fast approaching, but it doesn't mean the learning stops for local schoolchildren — even if you live out of town.
The Farmington School System's continuing education program recently opened registration for its summer 2023 programs and those looking to learn in the area are invited to sign up.
For many folks, "summer school" was where you had to go to make up for lost credits in order to move on to the next grade.

And while many classes offered do, indeed, provide those opportunities, most of "summer school" in Farmington includes fun, educational offerings that promise to take a bite out of summer boredom.
Among the many offerings are theater classes, music and band classes, fun classes emphasizing lessons in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math).

Many of the classes offered in Farmington are also available to out-of-towners, though families interested in registering should read the class offerings carefully to see if they're open to them.
