First Church Women's Association Clothing Sale

First Church Women's Association Clothing Sale will take place on Friday, October 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. and Oct 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The following is from the First Church Women’s Association:

The very popular, semi-annual First Church Women’s Association Clothing Sale will take place on Friday, October 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday October 18th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Amistad Hall. The Sale Entrance is on School Street in Farmington.

The sale includes shoes, jewelry and accessory items, as well as “somewhat used” men’s, women’s and children’s clothing. Admission on Friday night is $5.00, with clothing and most items priced by category. Boutique items are priced individually. On Saturday, admission is $3.00 and regular items are $3.00 per bag. Items in the Boutique will be half-price on Saturday.

Funds raised at this event are administered by the Women’s Association of First Church of Christ, Congregational, 1652, a non-profit organization. The group buys necessary items for the church and gives to multiple charity organizations, which have included Services for the Elderly, Foodshare, the Farmington Food Pantry, Dress for Success, My Sister’s Place, Farmington Valley VNA, and Farmington Valley Hospice and the First Church Youth Mission Trip.
First Church of Christ, Congregational, 1652, is located at 75 Main Street in Farmington, across from the Fire Station. Parking is available on School Street, Church Street, and the Barney library Parking Lot.. Church Services are at 10 am every Sunday. All are welcome. Visit us some Sunday.
