Former FoxCT/WTNH Meteorologist Geoff Fox Lands Job in Palm Springs
He will be doing weather forecasts for KMIR in Palm Springs, CA.

Former Fox CT meteorologist Geoff Fox will be back in the weather broadcast business after landing a job at KMIR in Palm Springs, CA.
Fox will start Jan. 1 and will be doing the broadcasts from his in-home studio, according to his blog My Permanent Record.
“I’m super excited about KMIR and will be devoting lots of time to make sure everything works perfectly,” Fox wrote. “Quite honestly, it’s pretty cool.”

The former Fox CT meteorologist had previously been a meteorologist at WTNH between 1984 and 2011 before making the move to Fox CT.
Fox had name recognition and an immense following across the state.

He was let go from the station for “inappropriate conduct” in November 2012 after private Facebook messages of a sexual nature were made public. He publicly admitted that the messages were wrong. Many fans across the state advocated that he be taken back by the station.
