Free Concert Featuring UConn Chamber Orchestra at FHS

College musicians will join the Farmington High School Symphony String Orchestra.

A free concert featuring the UConn Chamber Orchestra and the Farmington High School Symphony String Orchestra is slated for Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. in the Farmington High School auditorium.

Featured selections include Vivaldi’s Four Seasons: Autumn, Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture and Bernstein’s Somewhere from West Side Story.

Ms. Katie Carlson directs all orchestras at Farmington High School, and Maestro Harvey Felder is the director of the UConn Chamber Orchestra with solos will be performed by UConn violin professor, Dr. Solomiya Ivakhiv.
