Friends Of the Farmington Libraries In Need Of Book Donations
The Friends of the Farmington Library are stocking the shelves for upcoming used book sales.

FARMINGTON, CT — The Friends of the Farmington Libraries are in need of book donations.
Book sales, sponsored by the Friends of the Farmington Libraries and held periodically throughout the year at the main Farmington library, are considered popular events in town, friends officials said. The profits from the book sales are used to support "quality" library programs for children and adults as well as staff training and the purchase of museum passes and other library materials.
Many of the supplies and services available in the libraries would not be available without the help of the Friends, library officials said.

The Friends are in need of used books to support upcoming book sales and ongoing sales in the main library's Book Nook. The Friends are seeking donations of adult and children's books, hardcover and paperback, fiction and non-fiction, all in like-new condition. Gardening books are popular and will be used to stock the Book Nook for the spring.
Games and puzzles and unique vintage books that are clean and intact are also needed.
