The third grade students and their families know what a frindle is, as does anyone who's read Frindle by Andrew Clements.
With funds from the Parent Teacher Organization, Union School third grade teachers Paige Dominov, Tom Reed-Swale, Ben Stern, and Jessica Voloshin gave every student a copy of Frindle to read at home with their parents. After parents and students finished their reading homework over the course of a few weeks, everyone gathered at the Union School cafeteria on Friday, June 14, to discuss Frindle and enjoy refreshments.
