From a Dutch King’s lips to your ears. Pay attention!
A quick note to Governor Mao Loy, his Progressive Collectivist roll model BHO, misguided union members and ivory tower academicians. In case you were too busy getting [insert your favorite modifier] slapped around by the former KGB Lieutenant Colonel and current President of the Russian Federation, please allow me to call your attention to what happened the other day in one of the Benelux countries as it was speeding along the road to becoming Just Another’Stan in the heart of Socialist Europe.
According to the AP, the reigning king of the Kingdom of the Netherlands [consisting of the countries of the Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba, and Sint Maarten] King Willem-Alexander delivered a message to the Dutch people from the seat of government on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, in a nationally televised address in which he stated that the Dutch “welfare state of the 20th century is gone”.
Let me say that again, in one of the most “socially just” “income redistributed” “egalitarian” places on earth [at least since the Paris Commune of March of 1871], a place where the town of Amsterdam owns the housing so as to ensure a socially just distribution of housing in the city for all income levels, the hereditary King [yes they still have a royal family] declares that the “Welfare State ... is gone”.
But if that was not shocking enough for the good little Dutch socialists, King Willem-Alexander goes further and states “In its place a "participation society" is emerging, in which people must take responsibility for their own future and create their own social and financial safety nets, with less help from the national government.”
Be still my heart - people taking responsibility for their behavior and the consequences thereof! Finally someone who is willing to state the obvious even to the true believes. An interesting turn of phrase given that the Netherlands is on its way to becoming a country dominated by Islam and Sharia, but I muddy the waters with two distinct issues.
The welfare state is going, going gone and it is being replaced by a participation society in which individual responsibility is key. A stunning admission. Lets hope we figure it out before our monetary system crashes.
