Hartford Baking Schedules Long-Anticipated Grand Opening In Farmington
It's been open for a while, but the new Farmington location of Hartford baking Company will finally get its grand opening.

FARMINGTON, CT — Citing warmer temperatures and lower coronavirus numbers, the owners of Hartford Baking Company have finally settled on a grand opening for their Farmington location.
It is slated for April 22 at the 767 Farmington Ave., the third HBC cafe location.
Although HBC Farmington opened in December 2021, the grand opening was pushed "until it felt safe to celebrate," the owners said.

- Hartford Baking Company will be donating a portion of the weekend’s profits to two local causes: its neighbors at the Hill-Stead Museum, and Hartford’s Camp Courant: the campus of which is located in Farmington. It offers free summer programming for Hartford youths every summer for six weeks.
Hartford Baking Company had its start in 2010, with one baker, four baristas and a motto that said, "give our hometown a great bakery, and make the greatest products we possibly could."
Said Company President, Scott Kluger, "We wanted to attach Hartford’s name to something superlative and create something the community would be proud of."
A few years later, it has grown to more than 50 employees and delivers to restaurants and grocery stores in all corners of the state.
