According to organizers, the pantry's most-needed items include canned meats such as Spam and canned chicken, canned fruit, applesauce, baked beans and snack foods including pretzels, crackers and popcorn.
The pantry is also seeking condiments such as mayonnaise, ketchup and salad dressing, along with personal care products including feminine hygiene items, deodorant and soap.
Residents who are unable to make a large donation are encouraged to contribute whatever they can, organizers said.
