The minor league baseball team New Britain Rock Cats are set to become the Hartford Yard Goats once their move is complete in 2016.
Yard Goats beat out finalists Hedgehogs, Praying Mantis, River Hogs, and Whirlybirds, according to NBC Connecticut. The names were submitted and fans voted to limit it to the final five.

A Yard Goat is a term for an engine that switches a train in preparation for another locomotive, according to the Hartford Courant. The naming committee chose it to honor Hartford’s rail history.
The finalist names drew confusion from some in Connecticut with some calling for a redo. Minor league teams often have bizarre and seemingly nonsensical names. A Hartford Courant editorial called the names a joke, but pointed out that many minor league baseball teams across the country have just as odd if not more odd names.

The team’s logo will be complete in April 2016.
