Farmington residents are fortunate to have Beth Kintner running for the Board of Education. Beth has been an active member of the Farmington community for more than two decades, supporting its schools and services with an eye toward maintaining our town’s outstanding quality of life. I have known Beth for more than 9 years, beginning at Noah Wallace School where we served as volunteers and members of the PTO and more recently serving together on the Board of Education Personnel/Negotiations Committee. I’m proud to support her candidacy for Board of Education, a job perfectly suited to her experience and her passion.

Beth has been a member of the Farmington Town Council since 2017, where her responsibilities include serving as the Board of Education’s liaison. She also fills the same role on the High School Building Committee, the Housing Authority and the Human Relations Commission; and was the Chair of the Farmington High School Survey Ad Hoc Subcommittee in 2018.

That extensive experience continues her longstanding focus on educational initiatives that benefit Farmington residents. She was a member of Farmington PTOs for a decade, served on the Irving Robbins Middle School’s Parent Advisory Council, and the Superintendent’s Parent Leadership Forum. She has long fostered community engagement in our education system, and works hard to ensure our school system remains one of the town’s greatest resources.

As a current member of the Board of Education, I believe Beth’s experience and insights will be tremendous assets for the Board of Education, and I ask that my fellow Farmington residents join me at the polls on Tuesday, November 5 to vote for Beth Kintner.
