FARMINGTON, CT — A landing of Lifestar helicopter at Farmington High School Friday was not an emergency, according to local police.

The Farmington Police Department issued the alert Friday morning in case people may have noticed the helicopter at the school, which is located on Monteith Drive.

Rather, police said Lifestar's appearance was part of an educational program going on at the school.
