Amy Suffredini is running for the Farmington Town Council.  I know Amy because our children attend the same school and do after school activities together. But I am not writing because Amy is my friend, but because she is a person we want to continue to have on our Town Council.

Amy has worked hard on the Town Council to preserve the excellence of Farmington’s schools, keep our budget responsible, and generally make Farmington a great place to live and to raise a family.  Amy has the vision, commitment and consensus-building skills that make her an outstanding member of our Town Council.  Her focus is on keeping and improving our exceptional schools, town services and infrastructure, promoting businesses and smart growth, and preserving our town’s natural and historic resources.

Amy’s background as a lawyer, former New York City prosecutor, student of economics and realtor gives her the qualities that are needed to bring us through the current uncertain economic climate.  I am convinced that re-electing Amy to the Town Council will ensure that our town and community continue to be one of the best in the State of Connecticut.
