Major Road Project Starts In Farmington Wednesday
Several streets will be impacted and traffic will be slowed in town.
FARMINGTON, CT — Motorist and residents of one local neighborhood will have to deal with a large paving/milling project on Farmington roadays.
According to the Town of Farmington this week, milling and paving work on West Meath, Doris Street, Wooddale, Old Field Road, Glen Hollow and Crab Apple is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Aug. 23, weather permitting.
Town officials said the work is expected to take about two weeks to finish.

Farmington officials also issued a few directives regarding the project:
- All homes will be open and available for access.
- Do not park in the roadway.
- Traffic may be limited at times while the milling and paving is in process and residents should plan accordingly.
- Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
