Man Sought In Farmington Stabbing Arrested

Three people were stabbed at a massive Halloween party in the early morning hours of Nov. 1, police said.

FARMINGTON, CT — A man for whom a warrant had been issued in connection with his role in a Nov. 2018 brawl that wound up with three people being stabbed was arrested Wednesday.

Tyshawn Acluche, 24, was arrested by detectives from the Farmington Police Department, with assistance from the Hartford Police Department. He was charged with first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault.

Bail was set at $150,000, and he is slated to be arraigned Thursday in Hartford Superior Court, Lt. Timothy McKenzie said.

On Nov. 1, 2018, the Farmington Police Department received a 911 call around 12:41 a.m. for a large fight outside the residence at 241 Talcott Notch Road. When officers arrived on scene, they found approximately 100 to 300 guests inside and outside the residence, McKenzie said.

UConn Hospital called around 12:58 a.m. to say two stabbing victims were just dropped off at its emergency room. St. Francis Hospital called shortly after that to report a stabbing victim checked himself in to their emergency room. All three stabbing victims were non-Farmington residents, ranging from 19 to 27 years old, McKenzie said.

Information gathered by investigators indicated the Halloween party was shared through social media, which led to the large number of guests, McKenzie said.
