Man Steals Purse, License Plate from Vehicles at Farmington Golf Courses

Police are asking for help in finding the person who took the items.

On Sunday at approximately 4 p.m., a license plate was stolen off of a vehicle in the parking lot of Westwoods Golf Course in Farmington and a short time later, a purse was stolen from the Tunxis Plantation Golf Course.

At approximately 4:20 p.m., the Farmington Police Department received a call from the Tunxis Plantation Golf Course saying that an unknown male had smashed the window of a vehicle in the parking lot and had stolen a purse off the front seat.

The man is described as being white and approximately 35 to 45 years old.

The suspect vehicle was described as a red Nissan Sentra with a sunroof and damage in the right rear bumper area. Also, the right rear tire appears to be the vehicle’s spare tire.

The Sentra had the stolen license plate (Connecticut 7AKKJ2) attached to the rear of the vehicle.
