According to online court records Tuesday morning, Demo is facing disorderly conduct; second-degree reckless endangerment; threatening; and second-degree failure to appear in court charges stemming from a July 14, 2024 arrest by state police.

Demo's case in Manchester was continued to April 24, according to court records.

The incident Saturday started in West Hartford and ended in Farmington, police said in a report released Monday.

According to state police, at about 11 p.m. Saturday, March 8, a trooper assigned to Troop H in Hartford observed a Mazda 3 sedan traveling on I-84 westbound in West Hartford at a "high rate of speed, using all lanes to cut through traffic."

Police said the trooper caught up with the vehicle and clocked Demo going more than 105 mph in a posted 65 mph zone.

The trooper activated their emergency lights and siren to initiate a traffic stop.

Police said Demo complied and pulled over to the right shoulder near Exit 37 in Farmington.

"Upon asking Demo why he was driving so fast, Demo explained that another operator had 'flipped him off' in traffic and that he knew he was doing more than 100 mph," wrote state police in a report.

Upon running Demo's Connecticut driver's license, officers learned he had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.

As a result, Demo was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop H, where he was processed.
