Michael C. Daly to seek the state’s 5th Senatorial District nomination to represent; West Hartford, Farmington, Burlington & Bloomfield.
Michael C. Daly, Chairman of the Farmington Democratic Town Committee will be seeking the state’s 5th Senatorial District nomination. The position was recently vacated by Senator Beth Bye, who has accepted a position with the Lamont Administration. Daly has been active in Connecticut Democratic politics for over 30 years, and is a named partner in the law firm of Furey, Donovan, Tracy & Daly. He has served as a Board of Governor for the Connecticut Bar Association and was appointed by Governor Malloy as a Freedom of Information Commissioner. Additionally, Daly has been a contributing author of the Holden & Daly book Connecticut Evidence.

Daly is a graduate of Northwest Catholic High School, Trinity College and Western New England University School of Law. He and his wife Evelyn, who serves as Judge for the 10th Probate District have lived in Farmington for 26 years where they raised their son, John Mac Daly.
