Middlewoods of Farmington Assisted and Independent Living Community celebrated their 15th Anniversary with a party for residents, family members, and staff on Friday, March 28th. The event, organized by Activities Director, Ginny Brown, and the entire Middlewoods team, included a night of music, dancing, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres prepared by the community’s chef, Marie Rimmelin. Special features of the night included entertainment by Ron Spataro, an impressive flower vase ice sculpture (also created by Rimmelin), and a rousing performance from the Middlewoods of Farmington “Belles and Beaus” hand bell choir. The hand bell choir happily performs for special events at the community and also travels to local skilled nursing facilities to share their music. The anniversary event was a memorable night for all.
