Tippet is a male Springer Spaniel. He went missing on a hike on Talcott Mountain Trail in Avon/Simsbury. We believe he has followed trails out and made his way towards Farmington. There have been sightings near the Metacomet Trail area near Pinnacle Rd Area. He could come back out there or anywhere in the Farmington/Plainville area. We need to make people aware that he's out there. He is in survival mode. This means he will run from most people and most sounds. Please DO NOT CHASE HIM OR CALL OUT TO HIM. Call the number on the flyer so Recovery plans can go into effect.
