More Charges Added To Farmington Underage Drinking Parties Case
A man accused of hosting underage drinking and drug parties in Farmington is facing an additional sexual assault charge.

FARMINGTON, CT — A 40-year-old Farmington resident accused of hosting parties at which alcohol and drugs were served to minors is facing additional charges, an arrest report shows.
Farmington police said they will release additional details on the arrest of David Olivo after his scheduled Tuesday court appearance.
Arrest records show that new charges against Olivo include second-degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury to a child, and three counts of illegal sexual contact with someone younger than 16.

Olivo posted a $250,000 bond and was signed a Tuesday court date, records show.
It's the latest set of charges against Olivo, who is accused of hosting parties at his Farmington residence during which he hosted youths "under the age of 16," according to warrants. Warrants also indicate that detectives determined Olivo was, "providing alcohol and drugs to the youths. After what police called an "extensive investigation," detectives identified "no less than eight" juveniles who were "impacted by the activities occurring at the residence," warrants claim.

In May, a warrant charged Olivo him with tampering with physical evidence, the use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. A second warrant charged Olivo with witness tampering.
In April, he was charged with:
- Seven counts of risk of injury to a minor and a single count of permitting a minor to possess alcohol ($350,000 bond)
- Permitting a minor to possess alcohol and risk of injury to a minor ($350,000 bond)
- Fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor ($100,000 bond)
- Three counts of risk of injury to a child ($5,000 bond)
