Movie Night at St. James

Our first film of the year will be the delightful Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. “A fisheries expert is approached by a consultant to help realize a sheik’s vision of bringing the sport of fly-fishing to the desert and embarks on an upstream journey of faith and fish to prove the impossible possible.” Salmon Fishing in the Yemen deals with issues of difference, openness to faith, and discovering that our notion of what and who God is can prevent us from finding God in the first place. A wonderful opportunity for us to discuss interfaith issues in a very positive way and how we live out that faith day to day. Saturday, November 1, at 6pm.
