Multiple Farmington Roads Closed Due To Flooding: Police
Several inches of rain fell in the area on top of already melting snow from a weekend snowstorm.
FARMINGTON, CT — Farmington roadways appear to have been hard-hit by the nasty rainstorm that hit the area last night into Wednesday morning, with several roads closed.
The Farmington Police Department has issued a list of roads closed due to storm-related flooding associated with the 2-4 inches of rainfall and melting snow. They are:
· Meadow Road and Red Oak Hill Road between Route 10 and New Britain Avenue.

· Morea Road from Route 177 into Bristol.
· Town Farm Road from Devonwood Drive into Avon was closed, but it has now reopened.

· Johnson Avenue from Hyde Road to the Plainville town line, but it has now reopened.
Road flooding update: Morea Rd and Johnson Ave have both reopened. Meadow Rd and Town Farm Rd remain closed for the time being.
